LEICESTER PRIDE 2010

Leicester Pride Committee had a fantastic year 2009, with over whelming support from all those involved in Pride 2009, we are looking to replicate that success & support for Leicester Pride 2010.
The Leicester Pride committee has got together to discuss Pride 2010 & are looking forward to another great year for Leicester Pride.
The committee is always on the look out for help & new volunteers. The committee feels it would be of great benefit to the organisation if we had more lesbian groups & or individuals involved in Leicester Pride 2010. This is a great opportunity to be involved in one of Leicester’s biggest events & any support would be greatly appreciated.

 JOB VACANCY AT LEICESTER LGBT CENTRE

 Leicester LGBT Centre is looking for committed, enthusiastic people to join our team of Youth Workers.

 2 x Part Time Youth Support Workers

 Our Youth Service provides youth groups and one-to-one support services for people aged 13 - 19 in Leicester and Leicestershire who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, or questioning their sexuality or gender identity.

Successful applicants will be friendly, approachable individuals with some previous experience of working with young people. A Youth Work qualification is desirable but not essential. You will need to be a flexible, reliable and compassionate person who is supportive and passionate about improving the lives of young people.

 Leicester LGBT Centre is committed to safeguarding children. This post is subject to an enhanced CRB check.

 Salary grade: £7.82 per hour (casual contract)

Hours: Approx. 2.5 hours - 5 hours per week

 LEICESTER CHAMELEON GROUP
